Service DescriptionSmarter Plan provides missed-call handling and follow-up support for local businesses (“Business Partners”). When a Business Partner misses an inbound phone call from a potential customer, Smarter Plan may assist by capturing caller information and sending a text message notification to the Business Partner.Messaging through this service is conversational and transactional only. No promotional or marketing messages are sent from this toll-free number.Who Receives MessagesSMS messages sent from this toll-free number may be delivered to:Business Partners (Shop Owners) — primary use caseEnd Customers — only after explicit consent is obtained (future/secondary use case)Business Partner (Shop Owner) Opt-In ProcessBusiness Partners explicitly consent to receive SMS messages from Smarter Plan during onboarding.Verbal Opt-In Script (Read Verbatim)“As part of Smarter Plan, we can send you text message notifications when you miss a phone call so you can follow up with the caller.
These messages are transactional and related only to missed calls or inquiries.
Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

If the Business Partner says “Yes”, consent is recorded and SMS messaging is enabled.If the Business Partner says “No”, no SMS messages are sent.Consent is recorded internally as part of the Business Partner onboarding process.Example Messages Sent to Business Partners“Smarter Plan: You missed a call from (555) 123-4567.
